Tap Density Meter - STAV II

The jolting volumeter JEL STAV II,with its soft design, serves to determine the volume of a product before and after being stamped, its compression and tamped density – in accordance with the European Pharmacopoeia, DIN ISO 787 part 11, ISO 3953, ISO 8967 and ASTM B 527-93. With the use of measuring cylinders of 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 ml, this jolting volumeter JEL STAV II finds use in every industrial sector.

Operation

The jolting volumeter is used to determine the tamped density of diverse amounts of products in the form of powder, fibers or granules by using various sizes of measuring cylinders which are held fast with a retaining cap.
